Rocio is an award-winning senior planning and transformation practitioner.
Rocio is an award-winning senior planning and transformation practitioner skilled in strategy, decarbonisation, and climate resilience. She has a wealth of experience working with large asset portfolios in the public and private sectors, nationally and internationally.
Rocio has over 20 years of experience in sustainability and ESG strategy development and implementation. Her experience includes strategic asset planning, project sequencing, investment decision prioritisation, carbon management and public disclosure.
Rocio has worked with frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Green Star, the Science Based Target Initiative, Climate Active, the Global Reporting Initiative, the Taskforce for Climate-Related Financial Disclosure, the Carbon Disclosure Project, and the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme.
With degrees in Architecture, Technology, and Carbon Management, and a PhD in Environmental Design, Rocio brings a structured and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and project definition.

Dr. Chris Lund
Founder & Technical Director
Chris is one of Australia’s leading process efficiency & carbon management specialists.
Chris is a nationally recognised leader in sustainable energy, climate change adaptation and carbon management, including life cycle assessment.
He has strong technical and strategic skills gained through his 20 years’ experience in consulting and leading multidisciplinary research and teaching activities.
Chris’ experience extends to industries such as mining, transport, infrastructure, property and agriculture. He has provided corporate-level strategic advice on decarbonisation (greenhouse gas emissions management) and climate adaptation to numerous high-profile Australian companies such as BHP, Worley Alumina, Conoco Philipps, Main Roads and Fremantle Ports.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Physics and is currently a Professor at Murdoch University.

Founder & Non-Executive Director
Michelle Rhodes
Michelle is a Non-Executive Director of Decarbonology.
Michelle is multi-degree qualified and brings experience across the infrastructure, mining, water and oil and gas industries. She has a significant track record in managing environmental impacts and approvals on state-level projects including working with Main Roads Western Australia and the Public Transport Authority on NorthLinkWA, the Perth Stadium, the Matagarup Bridge and Forrestfield-Airport Link.
Michelle leads our carbon offset projects strategy and certification process. She has managed the Harvey River Restoration project for Water Corporation around the Harvey Dam, planting over 1,000,000 trees. She oversaw the recent carbon planting, and VERRA certification, at Chittering and Gingin for Decarbonology, planting 330,000 trees.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science: Environmental Impact Assessment and a Masters in Environmental Management. As an Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Professional (ISAP) Michelle delivers sustainable outcomes on projects.

Cameron Edwards
Founder & Director
Cameron is a Founder & Director of Decarbonology.
Cameron has over 20 years’ experience across infrastructure investment, consulting, financial advisory, investment banking, operational and executive management roles both domestically and globally.
Cameron has had a particular focus on renewable energy, infrastructure development, project financing, risk & credit, water, transport, fuel terminals and ports. Most of the infrastructure projects have had significant interaction between the Federal, State, Local Government and the private sector.
Cameron was previously CEO of a North German biofuel & energy company, a Founder of the European Algae & Biomass Association and co-wrote the 2018 Lithium Valley report for the Federal Government.
Cameron is a Founder and Vice Chairman of Lithium Valley, Foundation member of the Australia Microgrid Centre of Excellence and a Director of companies focusing on carbon emissions reductions, Australian battery cell manufacturing, financing for SMEs and sustainable development.
